Our Services
Symmetrix Home Healthcare is a full service agency with the range of expertise and experience necessary to meet the needs of virtually every type of patient. Our full range of services include:
- Skilled Nursing: Our nurses will work hand in hand with your physician to coordinate care and ensure that you are receiving the appropriate treatment needed to comfortably and safely recover from your illness. Our nurses receive ongoing training to make sure they are up-to-date on the latest in medical procedures such as: Wound care, Ostomy care, Diabetes Education, IV Infusion therapy, venipuncture, and disease management and assessment.
- Physical Therapy: Our Physical Therapists evaluate and develop treatment plans to restore and improve our patient's ability to function safely at home through exercise and education on safety and injury prevention. We have specialized programs that include Pre- and Post- Joint Replacement Therapy (See Symmetrix Orthopaedics care page), Osteoporosis, Arthritis, post spinal surgery, post cardiac surgery, back pain, and neurological diseases such as stroke, MS and Parkinsons Disease.
- Occupational Therapy: Whether it's getting you back to work in a timely and safe manner or providing assistance with daily living activities, our Occupational Therapists will evaluate and develop treatment plans for specific work-related injury recovery and for programs tailored to chronic, long-term patients in need of restoring independence and in improving daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, transfers, housekeeping, etc. This is done through fine/gross motor coordination training, education on joint protection techniques and exercises.
- Home Health Aide: Our home health aides are state certified nursing assistants, who are highly competent in assisting patients with their personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming. They can also assist with light housekeeping. Symmetrix delivers these in-home programs with the care and dignity usually only received from family members. A commitment to the individual patient sets our Home Health Aide services apart from other Home Health Care agencies.
- Joint Replacement Therapy: The rehabilitation process before and after joint replacement procedures is as important to patient recovery as is the Joint Replacement procedure itself. To better meet orthopaedic recovery services, we have created a dedicated unit to deal exclusively with orthopaedic care and recovery called Symmetrix Orthopaedics. All staff members are trained and experienced in all programs and protocols related to Joint replacement pre and post operative care.
